Communications
Key Functions
Provide communications and marketing services to the Office of
the CIO (OCIO) and Information Services and Technology (IST).
Work with internal clients to develop strategic messages,
including communications and marketing plans, presentations, and
forums.
Provide writing, editing, graphic design, and review services
for consistency in design and content of outgoing OCIO and IST messages.
Implement, administer, and maintain websites for OCIO and IST.
Solicit, gather, and publish IT news contributed by campus IT
providers and their functional partners.
Identify and analyze audiences to be reached for the purpose of
tailoring communications.
Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of communications.

Survey Gizmo
The OCIO maintains an Enterprise license for Survey Gizmo, an online
survey tool, which allows for a greater number of invitations and responses
per survey than the free version does. If you are interested in using
