Personal Online ID

• CalNet — personal ID that you will need to access UC Berkeley's online services

Electronic Mail

• bMail — email and webmail service for faculty, staff, and students, part of bConnected

Electronic Calendar

• bCal — electronic calendar service for faculty, staff, and students, part of bConnected

Collaborative Workspaces

• bConnected — web-based email, calendar, and document sharing tools (CalNet ID required)
• bSpace — collaborative workspaces, course websites, tools to support instruction and research (CalNet ID required)
• CalShare — fee-based service; collaborative workspaces

Network Access

• AirBears — campus wireless network (CalNet ID required)
• Campus IT Security Training — IT security resources
• Residential Computing — network connections and cable TV service for UC Berkeley residential units

Buying Computers, Getting Software

• Software Central — downloads for faculty, staff, and students (CalNet ID required)
• The Scholar's Workstation at the Cal Student Store — campus computer and software store offering educational discounts for individual faculty, staff, and students

Access to Computers

• Open Computing Facility (OCF) — student-run lab offering free email, web hosting, Unix shell account & computer lab access
• Workstation & Microcomputer Facilities (W&MF) — Macs, PCs, printers

Getting Help
