Travel and Lodging for UCITPSO meeting at UC Berkeley

We will meet in our new Data Center! The building is named "2195 Hearst." It is located at the intersection of Hearst Avenue and Oxford Street (at the far northwest corner of the Berkeley Campus). See map.
The meeting will be on the 2nd floor of "2195 Hearst", in Conference Rm 200-C.
To gain access you will need to phone the 2nd floor reception desk from the ground floor lobby.

The Oakland Airport is approximately 15 miles from UC Berkeley. Driving Directions: From North I-880 (Oakland)
- At the 880-80 junction, take I-80 East to Berkeley
- Exit at University Avenue
- Continue East on University Avenue for approximately 1.8 miles to Oxford Street
- Turn left onto Oxford Street and go two blocks North to the intersection of Oxford and Hearst.
The San Francisco Airport is approximately 24 miles from UC Berkeley. Driving Directions: From Northbound Highway 101 (San Francisco/Daly City)
- Follow 101 North and then switch to I-80 East (San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge)
- After the Bay Bridge, Exit to I-80 East (Berkeley/Sacramento)
- Exit on University Avenue
- Continue East on University Avenue for approximately 1.8 miles to Oxford Street
- Turn left onto Oxford Street and go two blocks North to the intersection of Oxford and Hearst.

- At the Oakland airport take the AirBart Shuttle to the "Oakland Coliseum" BART station.
You can buy the $2 AirBart shuttle ticket
at a machine just before exiting the airport,
or there is another machine at the Shuttle stop
(in the center median strip).- Board a "Richmond"-bound BART train and get off at the "Downtown Berkeley" station.
- Exit the Berkeley station at Center Street.
- Walk east on Center Street for one block to the west border of campus (which is Oxford Street).
- Turn left at Oxford Street and go two blocks north to the intersection of Oxford and Hearst.
- Walk or take airport shuttle to the BART station at the far north end of the airport.
- Catch a "Richmond"-bound train, which travels underneath the Bay to Oakland and then curves northward and continues towards Berkeley.
- Get off at the "Downtown Berkeley" station.
- Walk east on Center Street for one block to to the west border of campus (which is Oxford Street).
- Turn left at Oxford Street and go two blocks north to the intersection of Oxford and Hearst.
