Presentation Abstract:

Paperless Payment Processing is an e-Berkeley initiative developed by Business Services and the Departmental Technology Solutions group in IST to provide departments with a secure method to process credit card transactions over the Internet.

Using the CyberSource payment gateway, Paperless Payment Processing allows individual departments to tailor their e-business application to fit their own needs, and protects the information collected and maintained by Berkeley campus e-business applications.

This session will outline the original objectives laid out by Business Services, present the technical architecture implemented by IST, and briefly demonstrate Give to Cal, University Relations' on-line giving application using Paperless Payment Processing.
