Our One IT community strongly believes in the campus Principles of Community. We would like these to be reflected in how we approach our work together so every member of the UC Berkeley community has a role in sustaining a safe, caring and humane environment in which these values can thrive.If you experience or learn of behavior that is contrary to these values, we want you to know about available rights, options, and resources:

  • You can speak confidentially to the Staff Ombuds Office.

  • You can speak confidentially to Employee Assistance counselors.

  • You can speak confidentially about sexual violence/harassment, dating/domestic violence, stalking, and related harm to the PATH to Care Center and receive 24/7 urgent support by calling the Care Line at 510-643-2005.   • The university does not permit harassment or discrimination on the basis of national origin, citizenship, race, religion, age, pregnancy, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, former incarceration, or mental or physical disability. You can contact the Office for the Prevention of Harassment and Discrimination, even anonymously, to learn more about your rights, options, and responsibilities, including making a report.

  • To report a hate crime or hate-motivated act, please use the Campus Climate Report Form.
