To the Campus Community,
On Sunday, May 17, 2015, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., Information Services & Technology (IST) will be performing system upgrades to the data center network. During this maintenance you will have normal wired and wireless access to the campus network and bConnected (email, calendar, drive, box), bCourses, and other applications. However, access to many other campus applications and systems that faculty, students, and staff log into will be unavailable for a portion of the time or the entire maintenance window. This includes, but is not limited to: Cal Answers, CalCentral, CalPlanning, BAIRS, MyBerkeley App (mBA), Undergraduate Admissions (UGA), Event Management System, Tele-BEARS, Bearfacts, ProSam, Research Hub, StarRez, and many others.
This upgrade work is an important component that will help increase the speed of our campus computer network and prepare us to keep pace with future demands.
Some application owners have been communicating with their user communities, so you may have already seen additional emails regarding the maintenance work. For technical information, you can always visit the IT Systems Status page.

If you experience any issues with accessing your applications after the completion of the scheduled maintenance window, please contact the Campus Shared Services IT Service Desk:
- Call 510-664-9000 to speak directly with an analyst.
- Submit a ticket online
