We were thrilled to see you at the 4th Annual One IT Summit on July 18. Each year we strive to continually improve the event and I think, thanks to several factors including our keynote from Chancellor Christ, the wonderful support from all our sponsors, and the great work of the One IT Committee, we had our best summit ever! If you haven’t already, we invite you to provide feedback by Friday, Aug. 4 on what you liked most or suggestions on how we can improve the summit next year.
In Case You Missed It
Or you just want to take a look back, the following materials are now available:
- Read the news article which provides a summary and highlights from the day.
- Watch videos of the morning session including the inspirational keynote by Chancellor Christ.
- Take a spin through the Reimagining IT Strategic Plan website, presented by the Design Team during the Summit and stay tuned for upcoming opportunities to Lead From Where You Are.
- Connect with colleagues you met during the Exhibit Hall & Posters Session.
- Browse event photos and fun photo booth snaps.
Additional posters and other materials from the afternoon sessions will continue to be added to the summit website in the coming week.
We would like to recognize and send a special note of thanks to our sponsors: Haas School of Business, Adobe, Cambridge Computers, CDW-G, Dell, Nimble Storage, Nutanix, and Pantheon. On behalf of the ITLG, we also extend our gratitude to all the presenters: Chancellor Christ’s inspiring keynote in the morning and all those who led or participated in one of the three track sessions, or shared their work and insights in the Exhibit Hall in the afternoon. Of course, the summit would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of the One IT Committee who volunteer their time to plan and execute the summit and other events throughout the year and those who volunteer during the event!
In fact, our next One IT event has already been scheduled and planning is underway. Please mark your calendars for Thursday, Oct. 26, 3-5 p.m. for our fall new employee welcome and staff appreciation celebration which will be held at the Alumni House.
Thanks again for your participation at the Summit. We look forward to carrying the One IT momentum forward and your continued involvement as we implement the Reimagining IT Strategic Plan.
Larry Conrad, Associate Vice Chancellor for IT and Chief Information Officer
