Message updated to include additional locations impacted.
To our campus community,
At approximately 11:30 a.m. today, Monday, Aug. 30, you may have experienced issues with campus Wi-Fi network connections including eduroam, AirBears2, and CalVisitor. This is affecting a number of buildings and classrooms across campus with Dwinelle Hall, Valley Life Sciences Building (VLSB), Doe Memorial Library, Evans, Stanley, Berkeley Way, and Birge experiencing the highest impact. We want to assure you that the Infrastructure Services and Telecommunications team is aware of the disruption this is causing, particularly the impact on instruction, and is working diligently to resolve the problem.
What can I do?
If you are experiencing Wi-Fi problems, please submit a ticket with our IT service desk so they can assist you. Your tickets will help us better understand the impact of the outages to advance our troubleshooting efforts.
When will Wi-Fi be working properly again?
We are actively working to troubleshoot and resolve the issue, and don’t have an estimate for resolution.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to troubleshoot toward a solution. Check System Status for the latest information on this Wi-Fi incident and other critical campus systems.
