One IT: Call for Committee Members

July 18, 2019

I am One IT header

Colleagues,

The One IT Committee is recruiting new members, and we want you! All IT staff (technical and non-technical) are welcome to apply by Friday, July 26

Building community across IT at UC Berkeley is the primary goal of the One IT movement. As a committee member, you will be directly involved by helping to organize events and identify new ways to bring IT professionals together for both fun and professional development. This is a working committee with a focus on implementation. We’re looking for doers from all levels of the organization who are interested in:

  • Influencing One IT decisions and initiatives.
  • Meeting and working with campus IT leadership.
  • Celebrating IT work and having fun.

The time commitment is approximately five hours per month beginning in Aug. 2019, and 20-25 hours during April-June for IT Summit planning. The term of committee membership is two to three years and participation is contingent on manager approval.

We know everyone is plenty busy, but this is a terrific opportunity to get greater exposure to and visibility with the broader One IT campus community and environment. It’s also a way to help shape the One IT initiative in ways that better serve all of campus and ensure this remains truly a community program.

We hope you will continue to help us grow as One IT!

Thank you,

Larry Conrad, AVC for IT and Chief Information Officer, One IT Executive SponsorLiz Marsh, Director of Strategic Initiatives and Chief of Staff to the CIO, One IT Functional SponsorDave Browne, Director of IST-Infrastructure Services and Telecommunications, One IT Committee ChairJeremy Rosenberg, Chief Information Security Officer, One IT Committee Co-Chairand the One IT Committee
