Kudos to Many Teams Who Collaborated for UCPath Success

Congratulations to everyone who worked on the successful go-live for UCPath! Chancellor Christ recently recognized the project team. Here are excerpts from her letter, “I, along with all campus leadership, am extremely grateful to you for your round-the-clock effort you've poured into the project thus far. You are having a campus-wide positive impact ensuring accurate pay and benefits for all of our 23,000 employees... Together you are setting the standard and best practice for future UCPath implementations across the system. Congratulations on all you've accomplished thus far and thank you for your continued support and effort going forward.” You'll be able to make changes in UCPath Online as soon as the portal is live on March 30. Stay up-to-date at ucpath.berkeley.edu.

Goal 1Digital Learning Initiative - ReIT Goal 1: The Digital Learning Initiative (DLI) brings to UC Berkeley expertise in digital pedagogy, content, and learning analytics. By empowering faculty in the creation and analysis of digital content for learning and teaching, the DLI answers the call of the campus strategic plan to make greater use of technology as a tool to expand access and improve the quality and relevance of instruction. Learn more in the About section of the digitallearning.berkeley.edu website.

Goal 3Accessibility Focus - ReIT Goal 3: Accessibility is one of our ReIT Goal 3 priorities; we aim to improve the accessibility and usability of all campus websites and online resources, with special emphasis on critical services, digital learning resources, and online course content, all of which are integral to our students, staff, faculty, alumni and the public. One IT technology partners (Chief Technology Officer; Research, Teaching and Learning; IST-Architecture, Platforms and Integration; Libraries IT; Student Affairs IT; Berkeley Law IT) are already working with several groups on campus, such as Disabled Student Program, VCAF ADA compliance officer, Supply Chain / Procurement team (systemwide and campuswide), University Relations, Letters and Science, and Public Affairs.

Call for Proposals: One IT Summit 2019

Our annual summit is just a few months away! The One IT Committee is now accepting poster session proposals for the Exhibit Hall. Providing an opportunity for teams to highlight their work and accomplishments for the year, these sessions have continued to be a favorite among conference attendees. If you submitted a proposal to UCTech (formerly UCCSC), the summit is a great place to share your work locally before the UC-wide event. Be sure to submit your proposal by April 19!
