We hope to see you at the ReIT Open Seminar next Wednesday which will feature a presentation from Dean Rich Lyons on the UC Berkeley Strategic Planning Initiative.

Noon - Pizza Lunch in Gabarini Lounge (outside of Sibley Auditorium)
1 p.m. - Larry Conrad and David Greenbaum will speak about the state of the Reimagining IT Strategic Plan (in Sibley Auditorium).
1:30 p.m. - Rich Lyons, Dean of the Haas School of Business and the co-chair of the UC Berkeley Strategic Planning Initiative - Rich will talk about the state of the campus strategic planning project for 10 minutes and then open it up to answer questions and hear feedback from the group - that means you! Please read the Strategic Planning Steering Report Draft Report and come prepared to ask questions and make suggestions. We will be recording questions and suggestions so we can forward these on to the Steering Committee, who are currently soliciting campus input.
2 p.m. - Introduction of new tactics being added to the ReIT Plan:
- Mark Chiang: Top priorities in Enterprise Data projects.
- Shawn Smith: Cal1Card RFP development and technology enhancement.
- Chris Hoffman: Securing Research Data.
- Liz Marsh: IST approach to address concerns about equity and inclusion.
We encourage you to attend the Open Seminar and to let your staff know about the event. For those unable to attend, we will post presentation materials to the One IT calendar as we have for past ReIT events.
