Dear One IT community,

We invite you to review the IT strategic priorities that have been identified for the 2021-2022 academic year and to share your feedback with us.

As you may know, each year, the Office of the Chief Information Officer gathers input on strategic IT priorities for the coming year, at the department level as well as on initiatives that either have a campus-level impact or require coordination and collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups. Together, the department and campus priority initiatives comprise our annual One IT Strategic Plan and align with the Campus Strategic Plan. They reflect the goals and strategies of our entire One IT community (which comprises over 850 IT professionals across many different departments and schools on campus).

The public comment period for 2021-2022 One IT priorities will be open from May 18 to May 31. Your input is important to ensure that the work we are doing makes good use of our time and resources and supports our One IT goals of (1) providing students with the essential tools and data they need, (2) developing necessary research cyberinfrastructure, (3) creating a diverse and inclusive IT community that is also a trusted and strategic partner for the campus, and (4) continuous improvement across the foundational services we provide to support the university’s mission and operations.

Please submit your comments by end of business May 31 via this Google form. Questions can be directed to

Thank you for your time and attention to help us identify strategic areas of work for the coming year in support of our entire campus community and the mission of the university.
