One IT Colleagues,
It was great to see you at the One IT Summit on June 7. We had a packed program this year with many options for attendees to choose from. All sessions were well attended and focused on our theme of Inspiring Collaboration and Innovation. We truly felt inspired by the various presentations we saw and conversations we had throughout the day. Our hope is that you had a similar experience.
We invite you to provide feedback on the sessions you attended or give suggestions on how we can improve the summit next year. Please fill out this short survey by Friday, June 29.
If you were unable to attend or just want to relive some highlights from the summit, the following materials are now available:
- Read the news article which provides a summary of the day’s events.
- View the slide deck from the State of IT Address.
- Watch videos of the afternoon leadership session featuring a State of Campus Address by EVCP Paul Alivisatos.
- Browse event photos.
- Connect with colleagues and sponsors you met in the Exhibit Hall.
Additional posters and other materials from the morning sessions will continue to be added to the Summit website in the coming weeks. If you were a presenter, please send posters and/or handout materials to Rita Rosenthal at email@example.com. And don’t forget to check out our Summer of Learning page to tap upcoming professional development opportunities.
A special note of thanks to all our sponsors; without their contributions, our options and overall ability to host this event would be limited. Their partnership in making the IT Summit a success is much appreciated. We would also like to extend our gratitude to all the presenters. Everyone who led or participated in morning sessions, shared their work in the Exhibit Hall, and to EVCP Paul Alivisatos’ for his informational keynote followed by fireside chat with UC Davis CIO Viji Murali in the afternoon. Finally, a big thanks to the One IT Committee who volunteer their time and effort above and beyond the demands of their day jobs for all our benefit. Without their hard work and dedication the summit would not be possible.
Information about our next One IT event will be available soon. We will gather again in the fall for another annual tradition, our staff appreciation celebration, where we welcome new employees and celebrate the accomplishments of our talented team of professionals.
Thanks again for your participation at the Summit. We invite your continued involvement as we make updates to our Reimagining IT Strategic Plan including your input on the new strategies and tactics that are being developed.
