You’re Invited! One IT Gathering and Campus Leader Panel Discussion

May 19, 2021

Dear One IT colleagues,

The past 15 months have been quite a wild ride. I am incredibly proud of how our community has joined together to support the university through the pandemic and now in preparations for the reopening of campus this summer and fall semester. As we wind down the 2020-21 academic year and begin a transition back to our physical campus, we have invited several campus leaders to help us reflect on and celebrate the One IT community’s critical role in enabling Berkeley’s COVID-19 recovery and response to so many other urgent technology needs over the past year.

Join Us

One IT End-of-Year Gathering
Wednesday, June 9, from 9 to 11 a.m. (via Zoom)
Please reply to your bCal invite to RSVP
This event will be recorded, hosted with Zoom closed captioning and an ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter.

As technology professionals, we know the importance of our tools and services but we rarely get to hear from stakeholders about how our work contributes to campus strategic goals and how it sustains the critical activities and operations of the campus. We hope you will join us to hear from the following key campus leaders on The Role of IT in Supporting the Campus Through COVID-19. The format will be a panel discussion followed by Q&A.

Featured Panelists

I will be moderating this discussion with:

  • Cathy Koshland, Vice Chancellor for Undergraduate Education and Interim Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost

  • Guy Nicolette, Assistant Vice Chancellor for University Health Services

  • Julie Hooper, Vice Chancellor of University Development and Alumni Relations

Please submit your questions for the panel by Friday, June 4. We will do our best to address as many questions as possible.

In addition to the campus leaders' conversation, we will present the final IT strategic priorities for 2021-22 and we welcome shout outs and updates from the One IT community.

We hope you can join us!

Jenn Stringer
Associate Vice Chancellor for IT and Chief Information Officer
