You’re IT! Get Involved in Future One IT Events

October 29, 2015

Thank you for attending last week’s One IT Staff Appreciation event. We were glad to see more than 300 IT professionals gathered at the Alumni House to welcome new employees to our One IT family, celebrate our collective accomplishments over this past year, and to recognize 2015 IT STAR award recipients.

During the event, the One IT committee led attendees through a fun activity called Human Bingo that allowed us to interact and get to know one another. The group was abuzz trying to fill in the bingo sheets, and the following winners prevailed:

  • Grand Prize (filled in the full bingo card) - Mariana Corzo on the SIS Project team won a $50 Amazon gift card.
  • 1st Bingo (filled in one row) - Michelle Mason from SAIT won a $25 Amazon gift card.
  • 2nd Bingo (filled in one row) - Kim Carl who works in the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research won a $10 gift card to Yali’s Cafe.

If you were unable to attend, here are a few ways you can still connect to this event:

Finally, as you know, One IT events are planned and executed by a team of volunteers from our IT community. We invite you to bring your ideas and expertise to future events including our annual IT Summit. Please sign up to be a One IT volunteer today!
