Welcome to UC Berkeley Campus IT
There are over 900 IT professionals working across the UC Berkeley campus. The information provided here is for all employees with an IT-related position on campus. You may be working in a group where you don't have peers or technical management who can direct you to resources or show you where to get help. This website aims to introduce you to campus IT resources, both formal and community-generated.
Your unit may have specific orientation materials, if not, you can use the following materials as a framework. These materials have been prepared for current and new staff members of the Information Services and Technology (IST) division and the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). IST is the larger central-campus IT organization providing many services for campus.
