Standby Activation of DOC

Here is what to expect when the Berkeley IT DOC is in standby activation mode:

  • DOC Operations monitors for emerging threats and potential risks of failure or outages.
  • Affected service units in the Operations section will notify their Service Owner and support leads of their potential involvement in this activation.
  • AVC-IT/CIO and Berkeley IT Executive Directors discuss updates and developments.
  • Most directions will come from the DOC Manager, informed by DOC Operations.

  • DOC Manager / Chief Information Officer - or - appointed delegate.

  • DOC Operations - The Executive Directors of affected services from Berkeley IT units: CITI, ISO, CITE, and CAD.
