Berkeley Alumni Accounts get a Streamlined Update

The bConnected team is announcing a significant update to the management of alumni @berkeley.edu(link is external) email accounts. Aiming to simplify the process for alumni to maintain their accounts, a new activity requirement will replace the previous renewal system, effective April 15, 2025.

Under the new requirement, alumni with existing active @berkeley.edu(link is external) email accounts will need to take the following steps to keep their accounts active:

These actions will replace the need for renewal forms or additional steps, making account maintenance more straightforward for alumni.

Reading emails via mobile or desktop applications or forwarding emails without logging in through a web browser will not meet the login requirement.
