We have been listening to concerns from our campus community about our Berkeley Security Software, which includes Trellix HX Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR). We aim to help the community better understand the software, as we share the campus's commitment to transparency, privacy, and academic freedom. That's why we created new resources and are hosting a Town Hall.
Town Hall on May 2 at 9 a.m.
New Resources:
- EDR: What You Should Know(link is external)
- EDR Privacy and Process Key Points(link is external)
- Simplified EDR Data Collection Diagrams(link is external)
- Privacy Balancing Document(link is external)
Feel free to share these with your community, and we hope to see you at the Town Hall.
Best,
Allison Henry
