Dear One IT Community,
In March, the CalNet team will be rolling out changes to the Campus Directory Update application (CDU) that can be used to add or update your personal information in the Campus Directory. This new application will give you more control over who can view your personal information by offering new privacy settings.
New Look & Features
Once launched, the look of the page where you go to make updates to your directory listing will be different since you will be logging into mycalnet.berkeley.edu. This new CDU will be easier to use and more accessible than the legacy app.
Notable new features include:
-
Customization of privacy settings for individual data fields like your name or email address.
-
The ability to choose how your information is displayed: public, private, or viewable only by those who logged in via CalNet authentication.
-
Future improvements will allow users to display or hide their personal pronouns.
