Dear One IT Colleagues,
Recently, after deploying Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) onto Berkeley Managed Desktops running macOS, a small percentage of users (~2%) reported experiencing “unstable network connectivity issues.” The primary issue has been intermittent frozen Zoom calls and loss of Drive connectivity.
We have implemented a temporary workaround to mitigate further disruption, so users should no longer be experiencing these issues. We are testing a permanent solution with users in Berkeley IT and will communicate and implement this fix once it is verified. As always, please report any service issues to itcsshelp@berkeley.edu
