The BayAreaCISO ORBIE Awards honor chief information security officers (CISOs) who have demonstrated excellence in technology leadership, and this year two University of California CISOs are finalists! Congratulations to Allison Henry (CISO at UC Berkeley) and April Sather (CISO at UC Office of the President) on being finalists for the 2024 BayAreaCISO Orbie Awards! Their exceptional leadership and contributions have strengthened the security posture of their respective campuses while demonstrating a proactive approach to building a resilient security culture.
Winners will be announced at the 2024 BayAreaCISO ORBIE Awards held on Oct. 11 at the San Jose Marriott.
The ORBIE (Outstanding Recognition of Business Excellence) Awards are an annual program recognizing technology executives for their leadership, innovation, and excellence. Since the ORBIE Awards were first established, in 1998, over 500 leaders have received the prestigious award.
