Full Activation of DOC

Here is what to expect when the Berkeley IT DOC is in full activation mode:

  • At the Full Activation level, DOC Operations, Planning, Logistics and Finance will be involved to support the DOC Manager (CIO becomes the default DOC Manager unless there is a designee assigned).
  • The DOC Manager will work with the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and Events and Crisis Management Team (ECMT), as needed.
  • DOC Manager and Berkeley IT Executive Directors discuss updates and developments.
  • Most directions will come from the EOC, and will be relayed to the DOC by the DOC Manager.
  • All teams are expected to be available for the service recovery efforts.

  • DOC Manager / Chief Information Officer - or - appointed delegate.

  • DOC Operations - The Executive Directors of affected services from Berkeley IT units: CITI, ISO, CITE, and CAD.
