Rita is a communications strategist with expertise in marketing, brand development, writing, content analysis, web and graphic design, project management, web architecture, user experience, accessibility, community building, and event management. She joined UC Berkeley in 2012 after holding marketing and communications leadership roles at Arizona State University and the University of Minnesota where she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees. Jeané Blunt, Communications Specialist

Jeané started her career in radio, and after a few years decided to go back to school for an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science and Cybersecurity. She also started teaching at a local community college. That combination of experience is what brought her to work at UCOP as the IT Communications and UC FCC Licensing Coordinator, before joining bIT in March 2022. Jeané holds two Associate’s Degrees, a Bachelor’s Degree from Hawai’i Pacific University, and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from California Baptist University. Max DiBlasi, Digital Communications Specialist

Max joined the bIT Communications team in March of 2022 after 19 years in graphic design and communications at Case Western Reserve University and Fox 8 News Cleveland. During her career, Max has designed and implemented organizational changes to marketing team strategies and project methods. Max’s mantra is that good work gives good energy and influences others to do the same. Max created and led the Media Seek project at CWRU, to mentor high school students looking to go into media creation and design after graduation. The Media Seek program was successful and later shared and implemented at Cleveland State University. Max has an extensive background in martial arts and has taught military and law enforcement.
