Campus Remote Access Services

There are several ways to remotely connect to the campus network based on the type of business you are conducting. The bSecure Remote Access VPN (Campus VPN) is the preferred method to access the campus network. It allows CalNet ID–authenticated users to securely access the UC Berkeley network.

Remote Access VPN

The Remote Access VPN (Virtual Private Network) service allows CalNet ID–-authenticated users to securely access the UC Berkeley network from outside of campus, as if they were on campus, and encrypts the information sent to the network. The VPN service allows authorized users a way to connect to the campus network in order to access resources generally unavailable to users not on the campus network.
