This page outlines campus-wide IT planning prior to the current Campus IT Action Plan.

Campuswide IT strategic planning is led by UC Berkeley's Associate Vice Chancellor for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer (AVC-IT/CIO).

• Campus Technology Council (CTC), chaired by the CIO, stewards the Campuswide Information Technology (IT) Strategic Plan. CTC members, known as Associate CIOs, represent different campus constituencies.
• Campuswide Information Technology (IT) Strategic Plan is a living document that guides UC Berkeley's IT decision making to advance the campus's mission.
• Campus IT committees, sponsored by the CIO, work closely with the CTC on specific aspects of IT planning.
