Contact Options & Hours of Service

You can reach IT Support online, via email, or phone (510-664-9000, option 1) Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (excluding University holidays and curtailment periods).

Drop-in Hours

Drop-in IT support is available at the Academic Innovation Studio (AIS) in 117 Dwinelle Hall on Level D.

Winter Schedule

9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. -  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
1:00 p.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday
1:00 p.m. - 3 p.m Friday

We will have extended hours to help with the start of semester traffic on the mornings of:

  • Wednesday, Jan.17, 2024

Tech Support for Students (non-employee)

Student Tech Services (STS) provides free tech support to all graduate, professional and undergraduate students at UC Berkeley. The Student Helpdesk is available in-person, by phone and via email (excluding University holidays and curtailment periods)
