In some cases, you may be able to find an answer more quickly by following these steps before reaching out for IT support:

IT Support for Faculty, Staff, Postdocs, Visiting Scholars, and Student Employees

To make an IT support appointment, please contact the ITCS Service Desk (510-664-9000, option 1) or open a support ticket. IT support appointments are available over the phone or Zoom and in-person at your campus location. Drop-in IT support is available at the Academic Innovation Studio in 117 Dwinelle Hall on Level D, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. 
Starting Aug. 22, additional drop-in support for any issues with Wi-Fi will be available at the beginning of the semester on the 4th floor of Moffitt Library, Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Instructors experiencing connectivity issues in classrooms may call our hotline at 510-664-9000 (option 9), hotspots will be available, as needed.

Tech Support for Students (non-employee)

Student Tech Services (STS) provides free tech support to all graduate, professional and undergraduate students at UC Berkeley. The Student Helpdesk is available in-person, by phone and via email (excluding University holidays)
