In some cases, you may be able to find an answer more quickly by following these steps before reaching out for IT support:

IT Support for Faculty, Staff, Postdocs, Visiting Scholars, and Student Employees

To make an IT support appointment, please contact the ITCS Service Desk (510-664-9000, option 1) or open a support ticket. IT support appointments will be available via remote support tools and in-person at your campus location. 
Drop-in support for faculty and staff is available in Dwinelle Hall, Room 128, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m until May 27. This drop-in support location will close for the summer on Friday, May 27, at the end of the day. A new campus drop-in support location will be added this summer. We will update this page once a location has been confirmed.

Tech Support for Students (non-employee)

Student Tech Services (STS) provides free tech support to all graduate, professional and undergraduate students at UC Berkeley. The Student Helpdesk is available in-person, by phone and via email (excluding University holidays)
