We are pleased to announce the launch of new wireless networks that will be available this spring semester: Berkeley-IoT (Internet of Things) and Berkeley-Visitor. Both of these new Wi-Fi options will help make our community user experience more secure and reliable as well as provide new features. Berkeley-IoT and Berkeley-Visitor will not disrupt your current Wi-Fi experience; eduroam and CalVisitor will continue to be available.

Apple released updates to their software yesterday that resolve the issues that have been impacting Wi-Fi connectivity on their devices. Our network team has worked to confirm the updates rectified the problems that have been reported.
