Our Ask IT service catalog is designed to make it easier for the campus community to find information and request campus technical services in a convenient, centralized location.
Launched in July 2024, the catalog combines service pages, knowledge base articles, and request forms to live in one ecosystem delivered through ServiceNow. Previously this content lived in separate places making the user experience challenging. The new catalog features an intuitive search function, suggests related content to help find answers quickly, and allows users to favorite frequently visited information.
The gateway to the catalog is berkeley.service-now.com/bit and currently includes services offered primarily by Berkeley IT and Student Affairs IT.
Future phases of the catalog will incorporate additional functionality and features of ServiceNow.
