The upgraded workflow provides a simplified and accessible Duo login experience and offers a redesigned visual interface with security and usability enhancements.

The UC Information Technology Leadership Council (ITLC) is announcing the expanded UC Tech Awards Program for 2022. The program includes the long-standing Sautter Awards, which recognizes team projects, and five new awards to honor individuals or teams for outstanding contributions to technology at UC.
Applications for awards are due May 30, 2022. Visit the UC Tech Awards Program website for information on how to apply or to nominate individuals or teams.

We are writing to share some good news: As a service to the University of California community, UC is extending the duration of the free credit monitoring and identity theft protection services offered by UC following the 2021 Accellion data breach incident.
The contributions of UC women working in IT are featured in this annual Women’s History Month article by the UC Women in Tech Committee. On Oct. 25, 2021, we sent information to recommend that you decline the new OS versions macOS 12 Monterey and Windows 11 until we are able to ensure both new OS versions are compatible with all the applications and tools in our campus IT environment. After much application compatibility testing, we believe that our campus applications and tools are compatible with macOS Monterey and Windows 11, including our Virtual Private Network (VPN) and Wi-Fi.

Jan. 11, 2022 - On this date, all UC Berkeley students, faculty, staff, and eligible affiliates will be required to sign into Zoom using their CalNet ID and passphrase. If you already log in using your CalNet ID and passphrase, no further action is required.
