The bSecure team is pleased to launch the bSecure Remote Access VPN (Virtual Private Network) service, using the Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect software. This service allows you to securely access the UC Berkeley network from outside of campus and encrypts the information sent through the network. This service replaces the Cisco AnyConnect VPN service.

This message is to inform you of a change in the way you make local phone calls from campus that will take effect on June 22, 2019. You may have heard about the upcoming 510/341 area code changes in the news. We want to clarify what the impact will be for UC Berkeley.

Every Windows product has a lifecycle and that lifecycle ends when it's no longer supported. On Jan. 14, 2020 Microsoft will discontinue support for its Windows 7 Operating System. After this date, if your PC is running Windows 7, it will no longer receive security updates or fixes, software updates, and/or technical support. Without security patches, these systems will be easy targets for hackers, malware, and viruses.
