As a supervisor or manager at UC Berkeley, your role has likely become more complicated due to budget cuts, staff reductions, and the uncertain times in which we all find ourselves. Yet the challenges and rewards of achieving results for the organization while supporting professional satisfaction for yourself and your team have never been greater.

Join us for two half-day sessions exploring techniques and approaches for successful management in our One IT world on campus. Through lecture and discussion with your fellow managers, we will explore the science of management, the art of leadership, and the alternate reality in which we sometimes find ourselves.

Intro to Agile

Learn the basics of Agile principles and practices. Through lecture, hands-on interactions, and games, gain experience and tools to bring Agile back to your own work environments and get started on your Agile journey. The same course is taught each day so participants can choose which day they would like to attend.
